Rudolf Metzner (politician)
Georg Felix Rudolf Metzner (born February 14, 1913 in Haynau , † after 1945) was a German Gauleiter.
Life
Rudolf Metzner was NSDAP district leader in the district of Waldenburg 1937-1941, it NSV -Gauamtsleiter in Gau Upper Silesia , from May 1, 1944 Deputy there Gauleiter behind Fritz Bracht , whose duties he completely took over because of this disease from January to March 1945th His administration met with criticism from Goebbels and General Ferdinand Schörner . His whereabouts until the end of the war and afterwards is unknown.
