Rudolf Schümperli

Rudolf Schümperli (born March 6, 1907 in Frauenfeld , † March 11, 1990 in Romanshorn ) was a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Schümperli, a qualified secondary school teacher, was a member of the Romanshorn local council from 1937 to 1953, was a member of the national council from 1943 to 1954 and a member of the government of the Canton of Thurgau from 1954 to 1972 . In this function, he first led the building management as the successor to August Roth (also SP), who died in office, and then headed the medical and education department at that time until his retirement.
