Rudolf Schröder (economist)

Rudolf Schröder (* 1965 ) is a German economist and business didactician .

biography

Schröder completed his initial training as a farmer from 1983 to 1985 . From 1985 to 1986 he attended the technical school for engineering in Paderborn before to 1987, its 1986 national service rendered. He then studied economics at the University of Paderborn from 1987 to 1994 . From 1994 to 2005 he worked there as a research assistant and research assistant in the teaching and research unit for business education at Franz-Josef Kaiser. In 1998 he did his doctorate , also in Paderborn, on the possibilities and limits of the curricular integration of hypermedia learning software in business lessons within the framework of open, complex multi-media systems , followed by his habilitation at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in 2006 with a thesis on e-learning and teleworking for the professional qualification of the severely physically disabled People . Since 2008 he has been professor of economic education there with a focus on career orientation .

Schröder's focus areas include study and career orientation, especially against the background of the subjects of economic education and political and economic education. He is the editor of numerous teaching and learning materials.
