Rudolf Tomášek
Rudolf Tomášek (born August 11, 1937 in Karlsbad ) is a former Czechoslovak pole vaulter .
At the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, he finished eighth. In 1962 he won the World Festival of Youth and Students and won silver at the European Athletics Championships in Belgrade . At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he was sixth.
In 1966 he won silver at the European Indoor Games in Dortmund and came twelfth at the European Championships in Budapest . At the European Indoor Games in 1967 in Prague, he was ninth.
Eight times he was Czechoslovak champion (1961-1967, 1971) and once Czechoslovak indoor champion (1971).
