Rudolf Weinmann

Rudolf Weinmann (* 1915 in Berlin ; † October 7, 2004 in Buenos Aires ) was a German political activist.

In the seizure of power of the Nazis , he was in the communist youth of Berlin active. In September of the same year, he was arrested and tortured.

He then managed to escape to the Netherlands . After completing his professional training, he emigrated to Argentina , where he joined the Vorwärts association. Weinmann founded the Volksblatt newspaper , which he continued to publish underground after the ban.

From 1941 to 1945 he was secretary of the German party group of the Communist Party of Argentina .
