history
In 1826 the Rue Neuve-Chabrol was opened on the site of the former Saint-Laurent market. By resolution of the city council on December 7, 1847, it was renamed Rue de Strasbourg again . In 1966 it was renamed Rue du 8 May 1945 , to commemorate the surrender of the German Wehrmacht .
