The Châtillon ruins are the ruins of a hilltop castle on a hill south of Péry in the canton of Bern in Switzerland . The castle dates from the high Middle Ages .

The castle was the seat of the Lords of Péry. In 1244, Pierre de Péry (Büderich) is mentioned as a knight and mayor of Péry. Remnants of the wall with a gate passage and circular walls are still preserved from the castle complex . The Roman Catholic church Ste-Marie from 1904 stands on the same hill . The hiking trail no. 80 Via Jura, stage 7, Sonceboz – Biel , leads over the hill .
