The Rummelkarte is a topographic map created by the German cartographer J.FC Rummel in the years 1802–1803 . It is considered to be the most detailed map of the Gimborner Land , which stretched from Engelskirchen to Wiedenest and Meinerzhagen . The map at a scale of 1: 11,300 impresses with its decorative graphics that vividly depict the region. The title of the card reads: "The Reichs-Herrschaft Gimborn Neustadt recorded trigonometrically together with a chorographic representation of the surrounding area by JFC Rummel in the years 1802 and 1803". It was created using triangulation from 42 measurement points .
