Runddysse from Toreby

The Runddysse of Toreby (also called Thoreby Bysmarker) is located in a field east of Toreby and Maribo in Guldborgsund Municipality on the Danish island of Lolland .

The oval northeast-southwest-oriented chamber of the damaged passage grave consists of eight bearing stones, six of which are original and two of which were added in the 1940s. The color and shape separate the two from the rest, the flat side facing the center of the chamber. Two large capstones lie on top. The inside dimensions are about 3.0 m in length and 1.25–1.50 m in width. The top of the capstones is about 2.5 m above the surface of the field. In the south and east there are gaps between the bearing stones. There is rubble in the chamber .

Nearby is the Toreby Barneshøj .
