Runnymede (Toronto Subway)

Runnymede is an underground subway station in Toronto . It is on the Bloor-Danforth Line of the Toronto Subway , at the intersection of Bloor Street and Runnymede Road. The station has side platforms and is used by an average of 17,040 passengers every day (2015).

Nearby is the Bloor West Village shopping area . To the east of the station, the route runs a short distance above ground. There are transfer options to three bus routes. The station opened on May 10, 1968, along with the Keele - Islington section . Extensive renovation work took place in 2010.
