The Rustaveli-Wazisubani-Line ( Georgian : რუსთაველი-ვაზისუბანი-ხაზი), unofficially also Sakartwelos-samchedro-gsa-Moskowske-Prospekt-Line , is an underground line of the Metro Tbilisi that has been under construction since the 1980s .
course
The line is to begin on Georgische Heerstrasse. A transition to the Achmetelis-Teatri-Warketeli line is to be created at the Didube station . Then there should be a branch to the east and at the station Teknikuri Uniwersiteti . Then the line should run through the Wake district to Rustaveli station. Then the Rustaveli-Wazisubani line runs via Kwemo Elia and Zemo Elia to Wazisubani to the Moskovsky Prospect.
history
Planning for this line began as early as the 1970s. Construction work began at the end of the 1980s. Part of the tunnel has already been completed, as has part of the Saarbriukenis Moedani station . Since the independence of Georgia and the poor financial situation, the construction site has been temporarily abandoned. According to some information, the tunnels are said to have partially filled with water.
