Ruth Bell Graham
Ruth Bell Graham (born June 10, 1920 in Qingjiang as Ruth McCue Bell , † June 14, 2007 in Montreat, North Carolina ) was the wife of the well-known evangelical revival preacher Billy Graham .
Ruth Bell Graham was born and raised in China , the daughter of doctor and missionary Lemuel Nelson Bell and his wife Virginia . She also lived in Pyöngyang , Korea for three years before returning to the United States in 1937 to study at Wheaton College . During her studies she met her future husband Billy Graham. The two were married in Montreat on August 13, 1943, after graduating from college. Their marriage resulted in three daughters and two sons who are active in evangelical American churches and known nationwide
