Rutherford Ridge is a 9 km long and southwest-northeast oriented mountain ridge in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Saint Johns Range it rises up to 1,550 m between the Wheeler Valley and the Lobeck Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2007 after the New Zealand physicist and Nobel Prize winner Ernest Rutherford (1871-1937).
