Rutschebanen (Danish for roller coaster ) in Bakken ( Klampenborg , Denmark ) is a wooden roller coaster manufacturer's Valdemar Lebech , which opened on 16 May 1932nd

The 852 m long route reaches a height of 22 m. The maximum speed is 75 km / h. The train is pulled up the lift hill by means of a 22 mm thick cable . The speed is about 5.5 m / s.

It belongs to the category of side-friction roller coasters, which means that the trains have no wheels under the rails. Since there is a risk that the trains could take off and derail due to excessive speed, a brakeman was on board to ensure that the train could not exceed the maximum permissible speed.

Since the 2010 season, new trains from the Dutch manufacturer Kumbak have been used on the slide level. The trains with ten rows of two seats are made of GRP in wood imitation. The line received eddy current brakes with lowerable swords at various braking points and permanent magnets on the car. Thus, the train no longer runs with brakes on the train.
