Ryō Gotō ( Japanese 後 藤 涼 Gotō Ryō ; born August 25, 1986 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Goto learned to play soccer on the school team at Maebashi Ikuei High School . He signed his first contract in 2005 with Thespa Kusatsu (today: Thespakusatsu Gunma). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club, he completed 204 league games. In November 2013 he ended his career as a football player.
