Ryōichi Fukushige ( Japanese 福 重 良 一 , Fukushige Ryōichi ; born January 30, 1971 in Wakayama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Fukushige learned to play soccer on the school team at Wakayama Technical High School and the university team at Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences . He signed his first contract with Kyoto Shiko (Kyoto Purple Sanga) in 1993 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1995 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 40 games. In 1997 he moved to the second division club Otsuka Pharmaceutical . For the club he completed 55 games. At the end of 1998 he ended his career as a football player.
