Ryōsei Kobayashi ( Japanese 小林 僚 生 , Kobayashi Ryōsei ; born June 28, 1994 in Yokohama ) is a Japanese squash player .

Career

Ryōsei Kobayashi has been playing on the PSA World Tour since 2019 and has won three titles on it so far. His highest placing in the world rankings, he reached rank 87 in April 2020. With the Japanese national team he took in 2013 at the World Cup in part, the same year he represented Japan at the World Games . He was also part of the Japanese squad at the 2018 Asian Games and several Asian championships . In 2019 he became Japanese champion.

He studied at the University of Rochester , for which he was also active in college squash. His sister Misaki Kobayashi was also a professional squash player.
