German Blues Awards

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German Blues Awards are awards for musicians, events and institutions that have made a name for themselves in promoting the blues in Germany. The prizes have been awarded in different categories since 2010, with some categories being advertised annually and others every two years (in even or odd years). In addition to the national categories , ie those related to Germany , there is also an international honorary award.

The selection and awarding of the German Blues Awards is organized by the Baltic Blues eV association in Eutin . The selection of candidates is based on a survey among trade journalists, organizers and producers. The most frequently named candidates in each category will be put online for public voting. The winners in the two honor categories (national and international) are determined by the Baltic Blues eV.

The prizes are not endowed . The winners in the categories band (national) and solo / duo (national) can be proposed for participation in the International Blues Challenge .

The winners will be presented at an event organized by Baltic Blues eV in Eutin. The German Blues Challenge will also take place on the same occasion .
