Influences

Musical influences represent u. a. Stevie Ray Vaughan , Jimi Hendrix and Gary Moore . The influence of Gary Moore can also be seen in the fact that Henrik Freischlader recorded the Gary Moore tribute album Blues for Gary in 2017 , in which the two former Gary Moore musicians Pete Rees (bass) and Vic Martin ( keyboard ) as well as Moore's brother Cliff Moore (guitar).

Equipment

Freischlader has been playing equipment since his first album "Realtone" amplifiers, whose developer Andreas Breuhaus developed a signature model especially for Freischlader . Freischlader's main guitar is a hair- stratocaster in the color sunburst , on the headstock of which a Fender sticker sticks despite the actual brand "hair" . Furthermore, Freischlader mainly uses Fender Stratocaster models, but occasionally also plays Fender Telecasters (as on the album "Rorymania" with Richie Arndt & the Bluenatics) or a red Gibson ES-335 , which he found on the group's album 5live only plays. It is also worth mentioning that he owns some Gibson Les Pauls and also plays with them on tour. Freischlader also rarely plays acoustic guitars from Ovation and Martin . Henrik Freischlader only incorporates a limited number of effects devices into his game; he uses the "Holy Grail", a reverb device from the Electro-Harmonix brand , various models of the Tubescreamer series from Ibanez and wah-wah pedals from Vox . Freischlader also uses George L brand cables and D'Addario NYXL strings (gauge .010 – .052).
