Ryan Conroy (born April 28, 1987 in Vale of Leven ) is a Scottish football player on the position of defender . He currently plays with Celtic Glasgow in the Scottish Premier League , the highest Scottish division.

Career

society

Conroy began his career at Celtic Glasgow, where he was inducted into the first team squad in 2005. He only made his professional debut in the 2007/08 season. In the game against FC Falkirk on December 11, 2007, the defender played through from the start. After another use Conroy could not prevail so far and did not come to any use in the 2008/09 or 2009/10 season. The championship title of 2008 could still be celebrated. Ryan Conroy was loaned to Partick Thistle in the Scottish Football League First Division on January 14, 2010 through the end of the season .

National team

Internationally, he has played three times for the Scottish U-21 team and scored one goal. In 2007 Conroy took part in the U-20 World Cup in Canada . He was used in all three group games of the Scottish selection, with all three games lost and Scotland eliminated as the group bottom.
