Ryang Myong-il (born July 31, 1987 ) is a North Korean soccer player .

Career

Ryang appears internationally as a player in the Wolmido sports group . In 2009 Ryang played for the Chinese first division club Chengdu Blades , making him one of the few North Korean-born players allowed to play abroad.

With the North Korean Olympic selection (U-23) he failed in the final qualifying round for the 2008 Olympic Games in 2007, and in 2009 he finished fourth with the Olympic team at the East Asian Games in Hong Kong.

Ryang was a member of the North Korean national team at the King's Cup in 2003 and made sporadic international appearances in the following years. In February 2010, Ryang won the AFC Challenge Cup in Sri Lanka with a North Korean B selection . He was used in four of the five tournament games, in the final he was sent off after 32 minutes with a yellow-red card.
