history

The history of the building can be traced back to the 15th century. In the years 1617 to 1631 the building was extended to the second floor and given a renaissance facade, the top floor with figurative representations. The renaissance facade was changed into a classical facade in 1823 . The top floor was also removed and a third floor was built. A wall was erected around the roof, which was removed between the First and Second World Wars . During the renovation in 1938, the facade was redesigned again. The spaces between the windows were decorated with sgraffito by J. Wodyński. In 1954 the decoration was removed from the facade and the wall on the top floor was reconstructed. The design of the frieze between the second and third floors also fell during this period.
