Ryō Adachi ( Japanese 安達 亮 Adachi Ryō ; born July 2, 1969 in Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Adachi learned to play football in the university team of Senshu University . He signed his first contract with Yokohama Flügels in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of 1992 he ended his career as a football player.

In November 2012, Adachi became the coach of Vissel Kobe . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2012 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2013 he was runner-up with the club in the J2 League and rose again to the J1 League. In May 2018 he was introduced as the new coach of the J3 League club Kataller Toyama .
