Ryōko Fukuyama

Ryōko Fukuyama ( Japanese 福山 リ ョ ウ コ , Fukuyama Ryōko ; born January 5, 1977 in Wakayama Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese manga artist . Her works are aimed at girls and belong to the Shōjo genre.

She studied at Chūō University . Fukuyama published her first manga in 1999 with the short story Shinzō ga Tarinai in the Japanese manga magazine Hana to Yume . From then on she worked as a professional illustrator for the Hakusensha publishing house and began her manga series Charming Junkie in 2003 . This was published in Hana to Yume , has over 3,000 pages and is also translated into German.

The draftsman has been recognized several times as the best young draftsman, including the 270th HMC doryokushō and the 23rd atena shinjin taishō .

She also lived near Braunschweig for a while. She currently lives in Kanagawa Prefecture .
