Hakusensha ( Japanese 株式会社 白泉 社 Kabushiki-gaisha Hakusensha , English Hakusensha, Inc. ) is a Japanese publisher. It was founded on December 1st, 1973 by Shueisha . Today it is legally an independent publisher. Together with Shueisha and Shogakukan, it belongs to the Keiretsu of the Hitotsubashi Group . In the West he is best through his publishing Shōjo - manganese known, although the his - magazine Young Animal in 2003 by Hana to Yume sold the most. In addition to individual publications, Hakusensha also sells anthologies ( Tankōbon ) under various brands.
