Young Animal ( Japanese ヤ ン グ ア ニ マ ル , Yangu Animaru ) is a Japanese manga magazine that is aimed at a young male audience and is therefore counted in his category.
It first appeared from 1989 as Gekkan Animal House ( 月刊 ア ニ マ ル ハ ウ ス , Gekkan Animaru Hausu ) and was renamed Young Animal in 1992. The Hakusensha publishing house brings out a new edition twice a month, each of which sold around 103,000 times in 2016. In 2009 sales were still at 168,000. The editorial office is in Tokyo.
In 2000, the sister magazine Young Animal Arashi started . From 2004 to 2013 there was also the Young Animal Island , which had a new start in 2014 as Young Animal Innocent , but which did not get beyond the starting number.
