Mai Ball - football is sexy! ( Japanese マ イ ぼ ー る! , Mai Bōru! ) is a manga series by Sora Inoue about women's football that has been published in Japan since 2012 .
action
Mai Miyano ( 宮 野 舞 ) is the daughter of a family that owns a bathhouse. She loves her childhood friend Kunimitsu Hasuga ( 蓮 賀 国 光 ), the soccer star of her school, whose training partner she was from an early age . This is later in the U18 team of Japan. Through training with him, although she is not particularly interested in soccer, she learned techniques, which is why Reika Hakurai ( 舶来 レ イ カ ) recruited her to play for the school's girls' soccer team. She becomes the center forward of the girls FC from Kijiyama-Nord. However, Mai has severe stage fright .
Both go to the Kijiyama North High School, which was once an all-boys school and now also allows girls.
Rinka Aomi becomes a gatekeeper and is masochistic. Mai's friend, Konori, becomes the team manager. Kijiyama-South becomes their strongest competitor and wins the championship in the first year. The following year Mai and her team won this trophy.
The manga has some parts of fan service , in it you can find the three topics "football, eroticism and humor", which is why it is recommended to read by 16 years. There are football techniques such as the "Cruyff turn", named after Johan Cruyff , as a technique to shake off opponents. Or the Panenka penalty, named after Antonín Panenka .
