Hana to Yume

Hana to Yume ( Japanese 花 と ゆ め , dt. "Flowers and Dreams") is a Japanese manga magazine that is aimed at young girls ( Shōjo ).

The 5 cm thick magazine in B5 format is published every 5th and 20th of each month by the Hakusensha publishing house at a price of 370 yen (as of February 2015). The main part of the magazine is made up of various chapters of manga series and manga short stories. These are mostly romantic or comedy manga with fantasy elements. The main characters in the manga in Hana to Yume are teenage girls, depending on the target group.

Hana to Yume was founded in May 1974. Until the mid-1990s, the magazine's circulation fluctuated between 400,000 and 500,000, but has been falling steadily since then. The magazine had a circulation of 295,000 in 2004/2005 and 147,000 in 2013/2014.

The German manga magazine Daisuki was created in collaboration with Hana to Yume and LaLa, which is also published by Hakusensha .
