action

The main characters are Naka Kaburagi and the top model Umi Kajiwara. Naka, who is actually very pretty, but inherited the crook smile from her parents, gets rebuffed by her crush because he is an "umi-maniac" and says that Naka's face would scare him. Naka, who wants to take revenge, comes up with a plan to coax Umi's secret of her smile and to get on the covers of all magazines. She locates Umi's agency and, despite her face, is accepted, but not without reason: She finds out Umi's secret: she's not a cute girl at all, but a boy. The two make a deal: Naka holds tight, Umi takes care of her orders. The two keep getting into each other's hair, but slowly become friends. Later, Naka Kaburagi also falls in love with Umi. They eventually become a couple.

Characters

Naka Kaburagi

Naka is actually very cute when she's not nervous and not smiling. Because when she does that, everyone thinks of the serial killer who was recently shown on TV or featured on wanted posters. Because of her inherited crook visage, she gets a basket from her senpai after she confessed her love to him after seven months of unrequited love. Only she, Ikue and the head of the "Junk" agency know about Umi's secret.

Umi Kajiwara

Umi is very successful because he smiles so flawlessly. He models as a girl, which is because he involuntarily stepped in for his nervous neighbor earlier. She was under so much pressure on the first shoot that she ran away. He is hit when Naka discovers that he is really a boy. He tries to silence her with many model contracts. However, that does not mean that he treats her well, on the contrary: he hits, kicks and treats her like a servant. He is the student representative and has great grades, although he always skips. Slowly but surely he realizes that he is in love with Naka. But there are further complications.

Ikue Tsutsumi

Ikue is an award-winning young cameraman who comes across Umi's secret in the first volume during a casting camp. He loves strawberries and therefore only eats products that contain them. In the second volume he is 17, but in the third he is already 18. He is a high school student and has an ex-girlfriend who went to Morizono, Nakas and Umis school. He's the one who manages to take beautiful pictures of Naka for the first time and then falls in love with them too.

Azu Nagafuji

A new star in the modeling industry. She appears in the third volume and seems to be in love with Tsutsumi because she is jealous of Naka because Tsutsumi almost exclusively photographs her. Her father is the head of Tsustumi's agency, which she also works for, and has good contacts, which enables her to win every audition. She was in France from the age of 4 and therefore has a heavy accent. She goes to the same school as Tsutsumi.

Mihane Nagafuji

She is the sister of Azu Nagafuji, she is in the second grade of high school and was the image model of the “Heki” brand for two years, from which Umi was kicked out after a day. Mihane quit himself shortly after her ex-boyfriend Ikue Tsutsumi became a photographer. After a long hiatus, she started modeling again and became Umi's partner.
