The older daughter of the employee Nonomura caught the eye of his boss, who absolutely wants her to marry off his previously unmarried 26-year-old Takane Saibara. So an omiai is arranged so that the couple can get to know each other. But Yukari is already taken and refuses to appear at the Omiai. In order not to offend her father's boss, her 16-year-old sister Hana has to step in. She wants to pull herself together, but when Takane behaves roughly and arrogantly towards her, she freaks out and leaves the Omiai. While she is still worried about her father's job the next day, Takane surprisingly picks up Hana on a date. She is still repulsed by him, but agrees for her father's sake. The young company heir seems to be seriously interested in the rebellious Hana and slowly they get to know each other's worlds.

The manga has been published in Hana to Yume magazine by Hakusensha since December 2014 . He brought out the chapters in eleven anthologies so far. The volumes each sold over 60,000 times in Japan.

The series has been published in German by Carlsen Manga since February 2018, with seven volumes so far in a translation by Antje Bockel. An English version has been published by Viz Media since 2017 . A French translation is published by Kazé and a Chinese translation by Tong Li Publishing .
