Ito Miura meets the wonderful “student” Makoto Amano, who had switched to Ito's school at the time, and after a short time you notice that a very close friendship is developing from this. However, Ito and Makoto couldn't be more different: While Makoto behaves very calmly and always wears very neat feminine clothes, Ito is rather quick-tempered and behaves very masculine.

But both have the same dream: They both want to be actors. As soon as Makoto Amano is on the stage of the theater group of her school, to which the two belong, it becomes clear that she has a lot of talent. The two also get the roles for Romeo and Juliet from William Shakespeare , with Makoto to cast Juliet and Ito to cast Romeo . However, the role of Julia was previously assigned to another person, who now plays the role of rival Makotos. After a short time, however, something happens that Ito would not have expected. After a rehearsal for the theater group, she invites Makoto over to her home, and her siblings are so shocked that Ito brings a girl home with her, which is usually not her style that the two of them are sprayed wet without further ado.

That is why Ito Makoto offers to take a shower. After a short while, she goes to her room to see whether Makoto has finished showering, and thus reveals Makoto's secret: Makoto is a he and is not called Makoto Amano, but Makoto Narita and has undertaken this role reversal in order to to realize his dream of becoming an actor. Since his father does not agree, he gives him the task of completing high school as a girl without being recognized. If he can do this, he can become an actor; if not, he will have to continue his father's work and take over his father's martial arts dojo. However, Ito wants to help Makoto go undetected in order to realize his dream, which is not always easy.

In the last two years of high school, Ito has had many adventures and always has to make sure that Makoto's secret is kept. Nobody is allowed to find out that Makoto is a boy, but some are on the verge of finding out about them. Another problem is Makoto's arranged fiancée Takayo and her brother, who has an extraordinary sister complex.

New terms are made in Makoto's deal with his father and the crucial school festival is approaching.
