Sáh (unit)

Sáh was a measure of length in Bohemia , Moravia , the Prague region and Silesia . The measure corresponded to the fathom .

  • in the 17th century 1 Sáh = 3 lokty / cubit (1 length = 0.5914 meters) = 1.7742 meters
  • in the 19th century 1 Sáh = 6 stopa / foot (1 p. = 0.316 meters) = 1.896 meters
    • 4000 Sáh = 1 mile / mile = 7586 meters
