São Miguel do Jarmelo is a Portuguese town and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Guarda district . The community had 188 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Jarmelo (São Miguel) and Ribeira dos Carinhos were merged to form the new municipality of Jarmelo São Miguel . Jarmelo (São Miguel) is the seat of this newly formed community.
