Södertälje IF is a Swedish sports club from Södertälje founded in 1907 .

The association was founded in 1907. The no longer existing ice hockey department took part in the Svenska serien i ishockey , at that time the highest Swedish league, from 1935 to 1940 . In the 1945/46 season , the team entered its successor division 1 competition . In addition, the team took part in the 1930s and 1940s several times in the Swedish championship , which was then still held in cup mode .

The football department , which also no longer exists , took part in Division 2 , which was still second class at the time, in the 1924/25 season.

The club currently only has the departments of athletics , cross-country skiing and orienteering .
