Svenska series i ishockey

The Svenska serien i ishockey was from 1935 to 1944 the highest ice hockey league in Sweden . However, the Swedish championship title was played in cup form in a national finals during this time . The league replaced the Elitserien as the top division in the country and was replaced by Division 1 itself .
