The 1935/36 season was the first season of the Svenska series i ishockey , the highest Swedish ice hockey division . AIK Solna became master . The IK Hermes and the Karlbergs BK were relegated to the second division.

In the main round, each of the eight teams played a total of seven games. The first place in the main round was champion. The last two placed were relegated directly to the second division. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
