The 1937/38 season was the third season of the Svenska series i ishockey , the highest Swedish ice hockey division . AIK Solna became master . The IFK Mariefred and Tranebergs IF relegated to the second division.

In the main round, each of the eight teams played a total of 14 games. The first place in the main round was champion. The last two placed were relegated directly to the second division. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
