Sömmering is an impact crater on the front of the moon on the western edge of the Sinus Medii , northwest of the Mösting crater and south of Schröter . The crater is badly eroded and there are two large openings in the wall to the north and south. The interior is flooded by the lavas of the mare (lunar) level and accordingly level.
