Sören Klappert (born January 29, 1990 ) is a German football player . He has been playing for the upper division FV Engers since summer 2018 .

Career

In 2006, Klappert moved from Bayer 04 Leverkusen's youth to the TuS Koblenz youth team . From 2009 he played in the second team of Koblenz. Between 2010 and 2011 he was occasionally used in the first team. In 2012 he left TuS Koblenz and had to take a break for almost two years due to an injury. In May 2013 he joined TuS Rot-Weiß Koblenz , which he left a little later for SpVgg EGC Wirges . In the Rhineland League, Klappert scored 18 goals for Wirges in his first year and was promoted to the top division with the team. In the following league season 2014/15 , his 15 goals ensured the newcomer's early relegation. In the summer of 2016, he moved to league competitor FC Karbach for two years . FV Engers 07 signed him for the 2018/19 season .
