Sören Schlegel
Sören Schlegel (born December 28, 1960 in Schlema , Aue district , GDR ) is a former German sprinter who competed for the GDR . He is the son of Lothar Schlegel .
At the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 he reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and came in fifth place with the GDR team in the 4 x 100 meter relay . In 1980 he was GDR runner-up over 100 m. In 1980 he was runner-up over 100 yards in the hall and in 1981 GDR champion over 60 m and 100 yards. Sören Schlegel started for SC Karl-Marx-Stadt .
