Søren Frederiksen (born August 7, 1989 in Sønderborg ) is a Danish football player . The striker is currently under contract with Aalborg BK in the Danish Superliga .
Career
Frederiksen began his career as a youth at SUB Sønderborg before moving to Sønderjysk Elitesport . There he made his debut in the super league at the age of 18 . In the summer of 2010, Frederiksen signed a 3-year contract with FC Copenhagen , which provided for him to be loaned back to his old club for the entire 2010/11 season. This agreement was terminated prematurely and Frederiksen returned to FC Copenhagen in September 2010. After Frederiksen only appeared twice for FCK in the Superliga, it was agreed in February 2011 to loan him to Sønderjysk Elitesport again. Frederiksen also found it difficult to assert himself during his time in Copenhagen due to injuries. At the beginning of 2012 he was loaned to the second division club Vejle BK , before he finally left the FCK in January 2013 and joined the league rivals Aalborg BK .
