The semi-detached house at Südstrasse 125 and 127 is a listed building in Heilbronn .
description
The house was built for master locksmith Rudolf Seitz and the merchant Rank according to plans by foreman Carl Mödinger from Heilbronn in 1908. The facade is symmetrically structured; the central axis is emphasized by the balcony, groups of windows and the curved gable . The colored exposed brickwork sets additional accents with its contrasts.
The sculptural ornamentation is concentrated on window frames, consoles, cornices and gable framing. It is based on Neo-Baroque and Art Nouveau , but modified in a modern way.
history
In 1950 the house half no. 125 belonged to the pensioner Wilhelm Rink. No. 127 belonged to the train driver a. D. Karl Rieker. In 1961, No. 125 belonged to senior teacher Wilhelm Hörz, No. 127 to Anna Rieker.
