South Tyrol Youth Ring

The Südtiroler Jugendring (SJR) is a working and action group of the children and youth organizations of South Tyrol . He stands up for the interests of the member associations and acts as a mouthpiece for the children and young people of the province. It was founded in 1977. The seat is in Bozen .

activity

The Südtiroler Jugendring offers information and advice, gives assistance, works on projects, enables international contacts and carries out campaigns and initiatives. His areas are: Consulting and networking, volunteering, international youth work, participation, quality development, training and further education, representation of interests, political education and youth policy.

The SJR also operates the Young + direct information and advice center for children and young people. In Bolzano she offers her services anonymously and in two languages ​​for all questions, worries and problems of young people all over South Tyrol. This gives them the opportunity to find conversation partners anonymously and easily.

The organization is a member of the Youth of European Nationalities (YEN).
