South Tyrolean minority award

The South Tyrolean Minority Prize is an award from the Autonomous Province of Bolzano / South Tyrol . It can be awarded annually by the South Tyrolean provincial government to one or more people who are particularly committed to peace, the protection of minorities and the coexistence of language groups.

The award consists of a certificate stating the reasons for the award and is endowed with 20,000 euros. It is awarded on September 5th , the anniversary of the Paris Treaty . It was first awarded in 2009.
