Südwestdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale

The Südwestdeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale , abbreviated to SüdwestLB , was the Landesbank of the state of Baden-Württemberg until 1998 . Seats of the credit institution were Stuttgart and Mannheim .

SüdwestLB was created in 1988 through the merger of the Landesbank Stuttgart and the Badische Kommunalen Landesbank . On January 1, 1999, the SüdwestLB merged with the Landesgirokasse and the market part of the Landeskreditbank Baden-Württemberg to form Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW).
