The SF Magazine ( Jap. SFマガジン Esu EFU Magajin ) is a monthly Japanese science fiction magazine, which of Hayakawa Shobō is published. It appears on the 25th of every month.

The first issue appeared in December 1959 in collaboration with the American fantasy magazine F&SF . The first editor-in-chief Masami Fukushima ( 福島 正 実 ) ushered in the golden age of Japanese science fiction. Initially, it mainly published translations by American authors, but later it also began to publish Japanese authors.

The first edition published stories by Robert Sheckley , Philip K. Dick , Isaac Asimov , Arthur C. Clarke , Ray Bradbury and others , among others .
