SJ Twining
Sidney John Twining (born April 11, 1892 in California , † March 25, 1959 in Los Angeles , ibid) was an American film technician who was awarded the Oscar for technical achievement ( Technical Achievement Award ) in 1945.
Life
Twining worked as a film technician for Columbia Studio Laboratory and was awarded the Oscar for technical merits ( Scientific and Technical Award ) at the Academy Awards in 1945 together with George Seid and Paul Zeff for the formula and application up to the production of a simplified, adjustable negative developer ('for the formula and application to production of a simplified variable area sound negative developer '). He received the Class III award, which consists of a certificate. The scientific and technical awards, as well as those for special achievements, are class I to III awards.
