SAX-MAX Snooker e. V. Dresden is a snooker club from Dresden . The club, founded in 2005, played in the 1st Bundesliga from 2013 to 2016 .
history
In 2009 the club was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . After the team finished fourth in 2010, they were relegated to the Sachsenliga in 2011 with seventh place. There, SAX-MAX Dresden came in first place in the 2011/12 season without losing points and thus managed a direct return to the second division. A year later, the team rose to second place in the 1st Bundesliga , in which they became German runner-up in 2014 . In November 2014, the Dresden German Cup winners. In the 2014/15 season they achieved third place in the Bundesliga. After the 2015/16 season , in which they finished fifth, SAX-MAX Dresden withdrew their team to the 1st Saxony League.
