The SCR Altach Juniors were the second team of the Austrian Bundesliga club SCR Altach . The team played in the Vorarlberg elite league, the third highest division , until the 2019/20 season .
history
The Amateurs von Altach became champions of the Vorarlbergliga in the 2008/09 season and were promoted to the Regionalliga West for the first time . In the first season in the third highest division, the team finished twelfth, on the relegation places they only had a lead of three points. The team finished eleventh in the 2010/11 season. In the 2011/12 season, the Vorarlbergers achieved a single-digit table placement for the first time with seventh place. In the 2012/13 season they finished eleventh again. In the 2013/14 season they improved again significantly and finished fifth at the end of the season.
In the 2014/15 season they played again against relegation and ended the season in 14th place, on the relegation ranks they had a lead of two points. In the 2015/16 season, the Altach amateurs came back in tenth place in the top 10 of the western league, but they were only two points ahead of the relegation ranks. The 2016/17 season achieved the best placement in the team's history: The Altachers came third in the Western League. In the 2017/18 season they could build on the successful previous season and took fourth place in the table. The 2018/19 season went worse again and the team finished 13th at the end of the season. After the 2018/19 season, the western league was dissolved and three elite leagues replaced the regional league, Altach moved to the Vorarlberg elite league accordingly .
In July 2019 the team was renamed SCR Altach Juniors . In the 2019/20 season, the Altach Juniors took fourth place in the Vorarlberg elite league and therefore had to take part in the relegation round. However, this did not happen again, due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the season was canceled after the basic round. After the 2019/20 season, the juniors were withdrawn from the game.
