The container ship type SDARI CV 1100 was built in a series of over 100 units, is considered one of the standard series in its market segment and is mainly used as a feeder ship.

The CV-1100 series was designed by the Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (SDARI) and built by numerous Chinese shipyards for various shipping companies. They are designed as full container ships with superstructures arranged aft and have five cargo holds , each with their own hatch, which are closed with pontoon hatch covers. The entire load space is 16,002 m³. Some of the ships are equipped with two hydraulic ship cranes attached amidships for cargo handling . With a draft of 7.30 m, this type of ship can transport around 10,250 tons and with a maximum unloading of 8.50 m 13,630 tons. The units are designed to transport up to 220 reefer containers and various container types over 40 feet. The tank ceiling of the cargo holds is reinforced.

The ships are powered by a two - stroke diesel engine . The engine enables a speed of around 18  knots . Several auxiliary diesels and an emergency diesel generator are available.
